Information we receive
We receive information you choose to send us by email, telephone or social media, such as your name, contact details and the contents of your message. Our hosting provider (123reg) may also process basic technical logs needed to operate and secure the website. If you are enrolled in our mailing list, your data (email, name, postcode and subdata) is hosted on our mailing list manager tool (Mailchimp).
How we use it
We use personal information to answer enquiries, manage volunteering and book donations, provide requested information, and meet legal obligations. We rely on consent, legitimate interests, steps taken at your request, or legal obligations as appropriate. Of course, we do not sell personal information (a practice we firmly disapprove).
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the use of your information, and to data portability. Contact us to exercise these rights. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
